Istituto di Radiologia

Our radiology services, part of the Swiss Medical Network group, benefit from a unique facility that provides a high-quality diagnostic approach for the vast majority of disciplines in modern medicine.

A leading institute

Our Istituto di radiologia has a team of radiologists able to offer high-quality services and expertise in the most specialised areas of diagnostic imaging: neuroradiology, ENT radiology, female imaging, thoraco-abdominal radiology, urology, osteoarticular, vascular and interventional radiology.

Outpatient services are available to all patients regardless of their insurance cover, and are subject to the same Tarmed fee structure in force at public facilities.

The radiologist is qualified to assess the usefulness of the prescribed examinations in order to establish the diagnosis required by the prescribing physician. In cooperation with the latter, he or she can define the most appropriate investigations on the basis of each individual case, thus preventing the patient from being subjected to unnecessary or excessively irradiating examinations.

Cases that require it (senology [Centre du Sein] and gynaecology, pneumology, urology, oncology and neurology[Neurocentre]) are discussed at structured multidisciplinary meetings organised at our institutes.

Our philosophy

  • optimal and humane care with full respect for the patient, from the moment of arrival and throughout the entire duration of the service
  • close cooperation between all our specialists and with prescribing physicians;
  • performance of examinations that are useful and appropriate to the patient's needs, in accordance with the highest industry standards;
  • continuous training in all areas for constant updating of procedures;
  • listening, availability and an absolute focus on quality;
  • multilingual medical and paramedical teams to meet the expectations of a cosmopolitan population.

Patient care

Your examination may not provide all the answers you need. It is very important to answer any questions you may have about your state of health and the medicines you are taking (written list of medicines). It is necessary to modify or interrupt certain treatments in order to undergo certain radiology examinations.

Dedicated and personalised care:

Our departments, like all our clinics, attach great importance to quality, safety and patient confidence.

Wherever possible, we strive to maximise the comfort of our visitors, to provide them with an experience that absolutely lives up to their expectations.

Please find below some useful information on how an examination takes place.

We would like to remind you that on arrival you will be asked to present an identity card and all the documents that have been sent to you by your doctor. Please do not forget to bring these with you for each examination.

You will also be asked to complete a questionnaire to ensure the security of your treatment.
